Artist Information

  Gerhard began making jewelry at the age of fifteen. He received his formal training at San Diego State University where he studied sculpture and jewelry design. It is his affinity and intuitive understanding of the sculptural form which is most apparent and influential in his work. After graduating with honors, Gerhard established his business in 1984.

   Gerhard has become a leading jewelry designer and well respected craft practitioner. His work is featured in yearly craft exhibitions, and he shows his jewelry in galleries and museums around the world.
